Project Overview
This project involved the complete transformation of a two-bedroom semi-detached bungalow into a modern, spacious, and inviting family home. Commissioned by an investor, the goal was to maximise the property’s potential, increasing both its functionality and market appeal.

The renovation included:

A 1.5-storey side extension, significantly increasing the internal footprint.
A rear extension, further enhancing living space.
A loft conversion, creating an additional bedroom and a dormer-style layout.
Full internal reconfigurations to improve flow and optimise space.

Challenges & Solutions
The initial extension design featured gable fronts at both the front and rear of the property, which was challenged during the planning process. To ensure a successful application, we worked closely with planning authorities, making strategic adjustments to the roof design at the front. These refinements led to planning approval without compromising on the property’s functionality or aesthetic appeal.
